衣先生前半生奉獻給了國家，後半生則卸下戎裝投入「亞洲化學」，衣先生投入他人生最後的三十年，全心經營「亞化」，1970年衣先生接掌亞洲化學時，員工只有十七人。

「亞化」逐步成長茁壯，1974年開發出全球第一個透明包裝膠帶，推動了台灣膠帶業往前邁進一大步，業績從1971年的千萬元到1983年突破十億元，1997年營收接近五十億，是台灣最大膠帶上市公司，多年來，他對這一切的一切，總是滿心感謝神的恩賜和所有同仁的努力....

Since I took over the company in 1971 Asia Chemical made money every year, even during the oil crisis of 1972-74. Sales reached NT$4.8 billion in 1997. Although Asia Chemical made money, its growth has not equaled that of many other enterprises during the same period. The only consolation I have is that our people worked very hard and devotedly. Many of them have been with us since the beginning, and many more have been with ACC for more than twenty years. Today Asia Chemical is not big, but it is very healthy.
