華航是除了亞洲化學另一個與衣先生關係最密切的名字，衣先生在他的著作「我的回憶」中寫到：「我以華航創辦人的身份，對華航的關心和期望，實非筆墨所能形容。希望這項事業永遠進步不落人後.....」

衣先生是華航的原始創辦人之一，華航這個名字正是他所命名。當看著華航的飛機飛越天際，載著無數旅客和歡樂回到台灣，相信這是衣先生最大的成就與滿足。

If a plane was shot down, both governments could deny any involvement. I was instructed to handle the formation of the airline company.
